Winnie Yamashita Rolindrawan
Ms. Winnie Yamashita Rolindrawan received her bachelor of law degree (S.H.) in Economic Law, from the Faculty of Law of the University of Indonesia in 2002. In 2007, she earned her Master of Science degree from the Faculty of Social and Political Science at the same University, majoring in Communication Management.
Prior to joining SSEK, Winnie began her career as a legal consultant in one of Jakarta's prominent corporate law firms, where she was involved in various capital market transactions such as IPOs, bonds issue and rights issue. She also took part in handling debt restructuring projects of the Indonesian Banking Restructuring Agency (‘IBRA'), an independent government agency established in response to the Indonesian financial crisis.
In 2006, she was appointed as an associate procurement expert for the Asian Development Bank - the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) project, where she developed and drafted model national procurement documents.
Since joining SSEK in mid-2007, Winnie has represented various types of clients from major domestic players to multinational companies. Winnie handles various kinds of transactions and is involved in numerous projects relating to M&A, investment, energy and mining, and land related matters. Her area of expertise includes all aspects of general corporate, energy and mining, M&A, shipping, investment, construction, real estate and property (particularly those involving hotels).
She is a licensed attorney and is currently a member of Peradi (Indonesian Advocate Association). She is active in publishing legal articles and serves as speaker in seminars and trainings.
Having spent her childhood in Hamburg, Germany, she is fluent in German in addition to her native Bahasa Indonesian and English.
