Rusmaini Lenggogeni graduated in 1992 from the University of Indonesia Faculty of Law, attended the Academy of American and International Law in Dallas, Texas, in 1994 and in 1998 obtained her LL.M. in International Business Studies from American University's Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining SSEK, she participated in the University of Indonesia Business Development Apprenticeship Program with PT USI Jaya/IBM.
In 1998, she worked as a Foreign Associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky and Walker in Washington, D.C. Her areas of practice are convertible debentures and bonds, pension funds, banking, bankruptcy, corporate matters, construction, health, private power and telecommunications, with specialization in aviation, corporate acquisitions and mergers, capital markets, intellectual property, real property leases and taxation.
In 2003, Ms. Lenggogeni was recognized by Asia Law & Practice as one of Indonesia's leading lawyers in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, shipping, maritime and aviation law, and taxation. She is a member of the International Bar Association, the Indonesian Legal Consultants Association and the Indonesian Association of Capital Markets Legal Consultants, and is licensed as a Capital Markets Legal Consultant.
