Winnie Yamashita Rolindrawan

Winnie Yamashita Rolindrawan received her Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) in economic law from the University of Indonesia in 2002. In 2007, she earned her Master of Science from the Faculty of Social and Political Science at the same university, majoring in communication management.

 

Prior to joining SSEK, Winnie worked at another prominent Jakarta corporate law firm, where she was involved in various capital market transactions including IPOs, bond issues and rights issues. She also helped handle several debt restructuring projects involving the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA), an independent government agency established in response to the Indonesian financial crisis.

 

In 2006, she was appointed as an associate procurement expert for an Asian Development Bank-Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) project, where she developed and drafted model national procurement documents.

 

Since joining SSEK in 2007, Winnie has represented major domestic firms and multinational companies in a variety of transactions. She has been involved in numerous M&A, investment, energy and mining, and land projects. Her areas of expertise include all aspects of general corporate law, energy and mining, M&A, shipping, investment, construction, real estate and property, particularly involving hotels.

 

She is a licensed attorney and is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Peradi). She is active in publishing legal articles and has spoken at numerous seminars and training events.

 

Having spent her childhood in Hamburg, Germany, she is fluent in German in addition to her native Indonesian and English.
