Agustina Supriyani Kardono
Agustina Supriyani Kardono is one of SSEK's founding partners and has recently been recognized as one of the top mining lawyers by Who's Who of Mining Lawyers 2011. She is a specialist in foreign investment, infrastructure, mining laws and arbitration matters in Indonesia. She has also been a guest speaker at conferences and seminars on arbitration, investment, infrastructure and the mining industry.
Ms. Kardono has been recognized by Asia Law & Practice, Who's Who Legal and The Asia-Pacific Legal 500 as one of the leading lawyers in Indonesia in general corporate practice, capital markets, intellectual property, IT & telecommunications, and labor & employment.
Ms. Kardono has been a member of the Editorial Board of Capital Asia and has frequently contributed articles to that publication as well as to Asia Law & Practice. She also co-authored an ELIPS publication on arbitration in Indonesia, and on "Intellectual Property in Indonesia," published by Sweet & Maxwell. She is co-author of the Indonesia chapter in Getting the Deal Through - Mining (Global Competition Review)
She is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association, the Association of Indonesian Legal Consultants, the Indonesian Association of Capital Market Legal Consultants and the Inter-Pacific Bar Association. Ms. Kardono is also a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia, sitting on the mining and environmental law committees.
She is licensed as a capital markets legal consultant and is an accredited mediator at the Indonesian Mediation Centre (PMN).
Ms. Kardono graduated in 1984 from the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Parahyangan. In 1993, she participated in the Academy of American and International Law, International and Comparative Law Center, the Southwestern Legal Foundation, Dallas, Texas.
