Joseph Hendrik earned his Bachelor of Laws in early 2013 from Padjadjaran University, focusing on international law. While in law school, Joseph was active in several organizations including the Asian Law Students Association (ALSA), Moot Court Society and the International Law Students Association. In addition, he participated in several moot court competitions including the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
In 2016, Joseph received a full scholarship from Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan, Ministry of Finance, Republic of Indonesia, to study law at the University of Sydney, where he earned his LL.M. in 2017.
Before joining SSEK in 2017, Joseph worked for another law firm in Jakarta where he was involved in a team representing a state-owned enterprise in arbitration at the BANI Arbitration Center in Indonesia. He was also involved in mining and general corporate transactions.
Joseph is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Peradi).
