Selig Purnama earned his Bachelor of Laws from Pelita Harapan University (UPH) in 2018, with a focus on corporate and international law. At SSEK, Selig has been involved in a number of projects concerning general corporate matters and investment.
Prior to joining SSEK, Selig interned at a boutique law firm in Jakarta that specializes in issues concerning the World Trade Organization, where he was involved in various trade remedy cases, including representing Indonesia in a dispute before the WTO panel.
At university, Selig was active in international moot court competitions. He was particularly active in the ELSA Moot Court Competition in 2014 and the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in 2015, and was named a top 10 oralist in both competitions. In 2016, Selig was the vice general director of UPH’s International Law Moot Court Competition, where he has been active in coaching UPH law students.
Selig is fluent in English and Indonesian.
