SSEK Law Firm has contributed the Indonesia chapter to the Global M&A Law Guide 2026, published by The Global Legal Post.

The Indonesia chapter was authored by SSEK founding partner Ira A. Eddymurthy, partner Rusmaini Lenggogeni, and associate Charvia Tjhai. The guide provides an overview of the legal and regulatory framework governing mergers and acquisitions in Indonesia, offering practical insights into key issues relevant to both domestic and cross-border transactions.

Topics covered include the principal structures for M&A transactions under Indonesian law, current market conditions and recent trends, the outlook for the M&A market, and the key laws and regulations governing M&A activity. The chapter also discusses commonly used forms of consideration, due diligence practices, warranty and indemnity (W&I) insurance, foreign investment considerations, disclosure and announcement requirements for public transactions, dispute resolution mechanisms, and the impact of emerging technologies on M&A activity in Indonesia.

The Global M&A Law Guide 2026 provides a comparative analysis of the legal frameworks governing M&A transactions across 34 jurisdictions. Designed for law firm partners, general counsel and in-house legal teams, corporate decision-makers, and other legal professionals, the guide offers a practical resource for understanding and comparing M&A regimes around the world.
