Rusmaini Lenggogeni, a partner at SSEK Indonesian Legal Consultants, was a panelist at a recent event in Rome on “Globalization Redefined.” The discussion was organized by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and was held in conjunction with the International Bar Association’s Annual Conference.
Rusmaini was on the panel for the session titled “The Next SoftBank.” This session examined the phenomenon of capital flows in traditional “Western markets” increasingly originating in emerging markets, and asked where the next mega-conglomerate will originate and what will it look like.
Rusmaini earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in international business studies in 1998 from American University's Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Her practice includes banking and finance, corporate matters, and restructuring and insolvency, with specialization in corporate acquisitions and mergers. She is recognized by Asialaw as one of Indonesia's leading lawyers in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.
