The Asia-Pacific session covered Indonesia, Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, and Malaysia.
Syahdan also serves on the ELA Board of Directors and is the Asia Pacific Regional Chair.
The webinar examined how governments across the region are modernizing labor and employment laws to address evolving workplace challenges. Topics included heightened compliance and enforcement trends, evolving legal frameworks for special categories of workers, expanded whistleblower protections, updated working-hour rules, and developments affecting the enforceability of non-compete arrangements.
