SSEK Partner Speaks at IPMI PowerTalk on Corruption Avoidance in Indonesia

SSEK Law Firm partner Nico A. P. Mooduto was a featured speaker at the recent IPMI PowerTalk seminar, “Commercial Approach to Corruption Avoidance,” organized by the IPMI Institute in cooperation with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Indonesia.

Also in attendance were SSEK founding partner Ira A. Eddymurthy, Chairwoman of the ICC Indonesia Commercial Law & Practice Commission. The event opened with remarks from Prof. Ir. M. Aman Wirakartakusumah, M.Sc., Ph.D. and Bapak Ilham Habibie, President of ICC Indonesia.

In his presentation, Nico discussed key issues including the legal framework for corruption, sanctions under Indonesian law, the role of enforcement agencies, corporate liability, and compliance guidelines for lawful interactions with government officials.

He spoke alongside Dr. Maximilian Burger-Scheidlin, Executive Director of ICC Austria, with the session moderated by Dr. Amelia Naim, Head of the CSMSR Center for Sustainability Mindset and Social Responsibility at IPMI.
