Avicenna Athalla Zaki Ghani Alli (Zaki) first joined SSEK in 2023 and rejoined the firm in 2026 after completing his Master of Laws (LL.M.) at King's College London, where he specialized in International Financial Law.
Zaki advises corporate clients across a spectrum of transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and financial technology matters, supporting clients on structuring, regulatory, and transactional aspects. He is the co-author of the Indonesia chapter of the Lexology Panoramic: Fintech global guide.
During his undergraduate studies, Zaki represented his university at the 22nd International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot, where he secured the 1st Best Speaker award in the general rounds of the competition, in addition to several team awards. Beyond international moot court competitions, he was also active in student organizations during his time at university.
Zaki is fluent in English and Indonesian.
