Aldilla Stephanie Suwana earned her Bachelor of Laws in 2011 from the University of Indonesia, graduating first in her class. Aldilla received a Fulbright scholarship to study at Harvard Law School, where she earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in environmental law and policy in 2017.
Her practice at SSEK focuses on energy and natural resources, and environmental law, in addition to general corporate matters and investment. Since joining SSEK, Aldilla has been extensively involved in a wide range of projects, including environmental remediation, shipping, real estate and the health care sector.
Her recent experience includes assisting a multinational company with its environmental remediation obligations at various sites in Java. In the real estate sector, she assisted a multinational property developer in connection with the acquisition of land for the development of residential towers near Jakarta, advised a property management company and a developer on residential, office and retail leases, and assisted a client with a lease dispute.
Prior to joining SSEK, Aldilla worked for the Indonesian government on sustainable fishery development, climate change mitigation and the reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+) framework in Indonesia. She also worked as legal counsel for the Presidential Task Force on the Eradication of Illegal Fishing and as legal counsel and an assistant to the Minister/Head of National REDD+ Agency.
Aldilla is admitted to practice law in both Indonesia and New York.
