Bima D. Adhijoso joined SSEK in 2019 after interning at the firm in 2018. His practice focuses on corporate law, foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, and technology, media, and telecommunications law. Bima is particularly recognized for his exceptional knowledge in Indonesia’s business licensing and foreign investment laws and Online Single Submission (OSS) system, the government’s one-stop business licensing platform.
Bima’s has become a trusted advisor to multinational corporations, Fortune 500 companies, and State Own Enterprises.
Bima is a frequent speaker on Indonesian legal and investment trends. He was a guest lecturer at Parahyangan Catholic University (2019) and presented at the HukumOnline Law Festival (2020), the American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia, and the Indonesia Canada Chamber of Commerce (2021). In 2022, Bima was named by regional education training platform ET-Asia a Rising Star Speaker of 2022.
He is fluent in English and Indonesian.
- Acted as Indonesian counsel to Grab in connection with its US$40 billion merger with special purpose acquisition company Altimeter Growth Corp. and Nasdaq listing.
- Acted for Singapore-based Princeton Digital Group in the sale of a strategic stake in its data centers business, including data centers in Indonesia.
- Acted as Indonesian counsel to Mastercard, Inc., for all its regulatory, corporate, and employment matters, including e-money licensing, electronic system providers compliance, and data onshoring for a mobile banking platform.
- Acted as Indonesian counsel to Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., in connection with its business operations in Indonesia and dissolution of its joint venture with a leading business conglomerate in Indonesia.
- Acted as Indonesian counsel to TSH Resources Bhd., in connection with its secondary listing on the Singapore Exchange.
- Advised PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Tbk., in connection with its sale of data center business to a leading Pan Asian data center and hybrid computing solutions provider.
- Advised PT Pertamina International Shipping in connection with its joint ventures with several global leaders in the shipping and logistic sectors.
