Bima Danubrata Adhijoso earned his Bachelor of Laws in 2019 from Airlangga University, in Surabaya, East Java, with a focus on business law. Bima joined SSEK in 2019 after having interned at the firm in 2018.
Since joining SSEK, Bima has been actively involved in multiple complex cross-jurisdiction investment projects, the establishment of foreign investment companies in Indonesia and numerous commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. Bima has an exceptional knowledge of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, the one-stop business licensing platform introduced by the Indonesian government.

Bima is a frequent participant in and speaker at workshops and seminars on the Indonesian legal sector and investing and doing business in the country. He was a guest lecturer at Parahyangan Catholic University in 2019, and in 2020, Bima was a featured speaker at the HukumOnline Law Festival and he helped lead the American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia (AmCham Indonesia) webinar “Indonesia’s Omnibus Law: Simplifying Business Licensing and Investment Requirements.” Bima spoke at the 2021 Indonesia Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) webinar “FDI and Indonesia’s New Investment List – Opportunity Knocks for Business.”
At university, Bima was actively involved in international moot court competitions, taking part in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and the International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot. He was first runner-up at the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition in 2018 and a top-five National Oralist in 2017. Bima was first runner-up for Written Memoranda Worldwide at the 2018 International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot.
Bima also spent time as an exchange student in Singapore, Japan and South Korea. He is fluent in English and Indonesian.
