Charvia Tjhai earned her Bachelor of Laws in 2016 from Pelita Harapan University, where she studied business law and graduated with cum laude honors. Charvia joined SSEK the following year, after having previously interned at SSEK and the subsidiary of a multinational pharmaceutical and cosmetics company.
Since joining SSEK, Charvia has been involved in a variety of projects, including those involving tax law, foreign direct investment, intellectual property rights and e-commerce, as well as general corporate and commercial matters.
At university, Charvia participated in various international moot competitions, including representing her university in the global rounds of the 2015 Foreign Direct Investment Moot Competition in London. Charvia was a member of the academic division of the Law School Senate, where she was the head of the committee for the 1st Pelita Harapan Business Law Competition.
Charvia is fluent in English and Indonesia, and has elementary proficiency in Japanese.
