Denny Rahmansyah joined SSEK in 2001 and has been deeply involved in numerous major transactions related to cross-border mergers and acquisitions, cross-border debt restructurings, banking and finance companies, plantations, private power and infrastructure projects.
Denny is also experienced in the fields of oil and gas, mining, real estate and property (including hotels and villas), compliance (anti-corruption/bribery), telecommunications, forestry, foreign investment and general commercial and corporate law. Prior to joining SSEK, he was associated with another prominent law firm in Jakarta where he worked mostly in acquisition and debt restructuring matters.
Denny is named by Asialaw and IFLR1000 as a Leading Lawyer in Indonesia for corporate law and mergers and acquisitions and is recognized by Chambers Asia-Pacific and The Legal 500 as a Leading Individual for real estate. Denny is acknowledged by Who’s Who Legal as a recommended Global Leader for real estate, being the only Indonesian lawyer to be acknowledged. He is included in the A-List of Indonesia’s Top 100 Lawyers by Asia Business Law Journal.
Denny received his Bachelor of Laws majoring in Private Law from the University of Indonesia in 2000, and his LL.M majoring in International Economic and Business Law from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, in 2009. In 2007, he attended the 44th Academy of American and International Law in the United States, where he studied American law from an international perspective.
Denny is a member of the Association of Indonesian Legal Consultants and the Indonesian Advocates Association (Peradi). He holds an advocate license from Peradi, admitting him to practice throughout Indonesia.
